The Executive Director
Moses Nganwani Tia is the founder and Executive Director of the Savannah Young Farmers Network (SavaNet-Ghana). He is an International Agriculture Development expect who has over the years worked with various International development organizations.
He is a Mandela Washington fellow (2014) under the Washington fellowship for young African leaders (YALI), an initiative by President Barak Obama and the US government for leadership development of young leaders from Africa.
Our Executive Director is also an Eisenhower fellow (global program - 2016) a prestigious fellowship in honor of President Dwight D. Eisenhower of the USA. It offered him the opportunity to enrich his professional expertise with various Agriculture development organizations in the USA.
With his rich leadership skills and professional expertise, he leads in the organizational development of SavaNet-Ghana. He also providers the technical expertise required for the formulation and implementation of Agriculture development initiatives, for the nurture of Ghana’s next generation of young leaders in Agribusiness.
Owing to his quest at promoting youth in Agriculture development in Africa, he has contributed in the development of various working documents on youth in Agriculture development for implementation across the world.
Following his rich expertise on youth in Agriculture development, he is a regular guest speaker at several International Agriculture development programs. He has delivered presentations in several countries in Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, etc.
He engages regularly with policy makers to ensure the formulation and implementation of favorable youth in Agriculture development policies. These policies continue to provide the leverages required for the youth to establish viable Agribusinesses.
